Advanced Tour

Sömen via Juifenalm

Almost undisturbed, the white slopes of the Sellrain mountains lure you up to the Juifenalm. The starting point is the car park of the toboggan run to the Juifenalm in Gries. Right at the beginning, a relatively steep forest belt has to be conquered. To make it a little easier, you can follow the toboggan track up to the Juifenalm. If you choose the toboggan track over the shortcut through the steeper forest path, you have to expect a slightly longer walking time. Behind the pasture, the trail goes up to the unmanaged Kühgrüblalm and further past the enormous, extensive northwest slopes of the Kühgrübl. It goes steadily upwards to the back of the Kühwarte and the saddle, from where you can already see the summit cross. Descent along the ascent.

  • Difference in altitude: 1.361 metres
  • Duration: 04:30 hrs
  • Highest point: 2.773 metres above sea level
